Hudson Valley Auctioneers, located at 432 Main Street, Beacon, New York will present an unreserved antique and estate auction with absentee, phone and online bidding through Liveauctioneers.com on Monday June 22nd at 5:00 PM EST. In house previews are Sunday June 21st from 1pm-5pm and Monday from 2:00pm-4:30 pm or by appointment beginning 6/12. Most items were collected from several estates located in the Hudson Valley and Westchester County.
This sale continues with the dispersal of a lifelong estate collection of fine porcelain and figurines by makers B&G, Volkstedt, Dresden, Meissen, Heubach, Rosenthal, and DJ Copenhagen. The same estate contributes art glass by Steuben, Lalique, Murano, Waterford, NEGC and several fine bronzes by makers such as Barbedienne, Franz Iffland, Robert Taylor. Hana Geber, Yiannis Koutsis, Lazzio Ispansky, Marijan Kockovic, cold painted and gilded Vienna animals. A large selection of Chinese, Japanese and Tibetan porcelain, bronze, carved wood and horn and stone as well as several Persian carpets and other textiles are scattered throughout.
A good selection of country and formal furniture will run through the sale including two Eldred Wheeler tiger maple tables, several country tables, Victorian walnut and ebonized examples, a fine Sheraton bench and some Arts and Crafts pieces. Other Arts and Crafts items include a rare Joseph Heinrich "Rabbit" chafing dish, a large Dirk van Erp copper jardiniere, a fine Hampshire matt green vase and other pieces from the period.
A large selection of artwork in various mediums will be offered with many abstracts, Japanese Mid century multiples and the remaining 10 oils from the collection of Robert Boernstein's works.
A selection of sterling flatware and hollowware, 10 vintage violins, early stoneware and several sets of fine china are sure to garner interest along with the large collection of miniature portraits and silhouettes including post mortem. Other items of interest are several stained and leaded windows, a large barbershop copper sterilizer, a decorated Gambone glazed dish, a Civil War presentation sword and approximately 75 lots of fine jewelry including gold, sterling silver and coins along with a large selection of costume jewelry, some sold in large lots.

The gallery is open for payments and pickup Tuesday 6/223 from 10am to 3pm and daily that week 9-3:30. Weekend appointments can be arranged for limited pickups if invoices are prepaid.
