Over the past 40 years we have built a solid reputation, holding quality auctions with participation from antique dealers, collectors and the savvy private buyer alike. Unless noted otherwise our auctions take place on Mondays and start at 3PM.

Our regular auctions contain a variety of items ranging from antique furniture to mid Century modern, including sterling silver, fine art (paintings, watercolors, etchings, lithographs), carpets, glass, china, Asian & European accessories, lighting, ephemera, advertising, art pottery and the strange and unique items that make an auction fun and memorable.

Neil Vaughn, the auctioneer of Hudson Valley Auctioneers has been conducting antique & estate auctions in the Hudson Valley since 1983.

Neil was the auctioneer & driving force behind Cold Spring Galleries, a well-known auction gallery that conducted bi-weekly auctions in Cold Spring, and later in Beacon for well over 30 years, knowledgeable in a wide variety of subjects such as furniture, accessories & art including but not limited to art pottery, native Indian objects, the Arts & Crafts period, art glass, bronzes, folk art, ephemera, advertising and more.

Neil brings his considerable knowledge of the antique world and know-how of the auction business to guarantee maximum return on your valuables.

Theo has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the auction world and has worked with Neil since 1986.
