Auction Service: This is what we do best, our auctions are held every 4 to 5 weeks, we are a traditional "brick and mortar" auction, and over the past 35 years we have built a solid reputation holding quality auctions with onsite participation from antique dealers, collectors and the savvy private buyer alike.

All items are placed on a Live Bidding platform and with over 6000 registered bidders from over 30 countries you can be sure we can find the right market for your items, note that while the actual auctions have moved to a strict Online only format, we still have, and encourage in-house viewing of items, we also accept bids directly for those bidders that dislike the online bidding process.

Commission is based on quality of merchandise & scope of consignment, commission charged covers insurance, advertising, photography and marketing of your items with no hidden fees, trucking fees (if applicable) are dependent on distance & distance & number of items and in many cases will be free, contact us for a free consultation.

Payment will be made the second week after the auction.

Our regular auctions consist of about 300 to 400 lots, ranging from antique furniture to mid Century modern, every auction has a selection of sterling silver, fine art (paintings, watercolors, etchings, lithographs), carpets, glass, china, Asian & European accessories, lighting and the strange and unique items that make an auction fun and memorable.

Absentee Bids forms, received on auction day after 4pm will not be processed by HVA.
