A rare offering of 22 original United States patent models acquired directly from O'Rundell and Richards Gilbert. A large selection antique furniture featuring an excellent bookcase secretary signed T. Timpson, ex Israel Sack with a letter by Sack describing it to the eventual buyer, a not to be overlooked swing leg drop leaf dining table with stylized dolphin foot and carved knees, a large selection Biedermeier examples primarily from an old NY club and a Sleepy Hollow NY estate and a collection of country furnishings from an old Rosendale NY mountaintop cabin.
Also from the Sleepy Hollow estate comes a collection of train related material amassed by a German American typesetter whose interest spanned all aspects of the US train system. The collection includes a very large collection Baltimore and Ohio Railroad china, a collection of train related stereopticon cards, several lanterns, telegraph insulators, an Edison poster and Marklin, Lionel and KBN toy trains.
A selection of artwork from many periods is led by a recently discovered pastoral scene by Aaron Draper Shattuck and is joined by the works of Arthur Kurtz, Romero Britto, Samuel Bell Waugh, Marcotte de Quivieres, Andrew Vargish, A.
